Our Mission

The Frederick Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in Oxford, UK, by neuroscience specialists and academic medical professionals, dedicated to transforming stroke care in some of Africa’s most underserved communities. We empower local healthcare professionals by sharing world-class medical knowledge and best practices through specialised training in advanced stroke treatment and rehabilitation. Additionally, we fund vital medical equipment and provide financial support to patients who cannot afford essential care — from medications and fluids to diagnostic scans — ensuring that financial barriers never prevent access to life-saving treatment.
